We’re excited to announce new features on Sidobe. The feature is Multiple WhatsApp Accounts & Sender Selection, designed to enhance reliability, flexibility, and control in your WhatsApp messaging workflows.
These updates are especially useful for businesses handling large-scale notifications, transactioal messages, and API-based automation.
✨ What’s New?
1. Multiple WhatsApp Accounts / Devices
You can now add multiple WhatsApp accounts or devices within a single Sidobe console.
Why does this matter?
WhatsApp accounts may occasionally experience issues such as:
- Temporary disconnection
- Sending limits
- Other technical problems
With multiple accounts enabled, Sidobe will:
- Detect unavailable or problematic accounts
- Automatically switch to another active WhatsApp account
- Keep your message delivery running smoothly
This results in a more stable and fault-tolerant system.
2. Sender Selection: Send Messages Using a Specific Number
If you have more than one WhatsApp device registered, you can now choose which WhatsApp number is used to send a message.
Simply include the following parameter in your API payload:
sender_phone
This allows you to:
- Control which number sends which message
- Separate transactional, operational, and marketing messages
- Gain full flexibility in your backend implementation
